Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you all are having an amazing weekend. I had an amazing week and couldn’t be happier. Reading wise, I did read amazing books and just had new great recommendations from fellow book bloggers. You guys are fantastic. Thank you! In addition, My sister in law and I areย planning to be having another mini trip in the beginning of July in her hometown. Yay, SO excited. I miss going to beaches. Last time I went there was two years ago and I enjoyed it. Can’t wait to be back again.

I’m also joining blogging ahead challenge hosted by Anna @ Herding Cats Burning Soup Blog.ย Two weeks ago I had a trip to my hometown and just realized how much I needed to blog ahead. I was overwhelmed by keeping up with the blogging while on the road. Thank you so much, Anna, for this challenge. ๐Ÿ˜€

Last week on the blog:

I read the Buttons series by Penelope Sky (a trilogy) and Deklanย by Shay Savage (a standalone) last week. I read four books in total. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are in the mood for a dark contemporary romance or a romantic suspense, these books should be your next read.

Books Iโ€™ve just purchased:

I’ve just purchased two books, The Knocked Up Plan by Lauren Blakely and First Touch by Laurelin Page. First Touch is the first book in First and Last duet. It was recommended by Melissa @ย Melissa’s Book World. Yay, thank you, Melissa. I’ll jump into it after finishing the one I’m currently reading. ๐Ÿ˜€

Book Iโ€™m currently reading:

I’m currently reading the book I’ve been planning on reading for so long. I’ve been curious about the author for some time but I had no idea which book of hers I should start first. After reading all the synopsis and some reviews on Goodreads, I’ve decided to give this book a try. Some bloggers actually mentioned this book a few months ago but I forgot the blogger’s names. Sorry about it. ๐Ÿ™

Anyway, I’m currently 50% into Sustained by Emma Chase and I am loving it. OMG, the hero is beyond yummy!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • It’s definitely a life saving for bloggers. I hope you do it, Lexxie. I’m feeling like I can finally relax a little and focus on reading.
Have a wonderful week. Enjoy your weekend. ๐Ÿ˜

  1. I enjoy Emma Chase, her Tangled Series and Royally Series are also really good. I haven’t read any books from this series, it looks like you found another author to follow ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you enjoy your reads this week.

  2. Greg Hill

I had a good reading week too. Those are nice. and yay for beaches! Hope your trip is a blast.

    Happy reading this week. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I am planning to listen to the Knocked Up Plan, it looks fun. Yay for blogging ahead. I am working on August post and it makes a big difference. Have fun on your trip! I love the beach too.

  4. So glad you had such a good week! That Buttons series intrigues me as you say it was so good AND the covers look nice!

Blogging ahead – I really need to. Make an effort to do that some more. I’m not joining challenges at the moment but I should just be doing this for myself…. I’m constantly behind it seems! Sometimes I wonder if that’s just how I roll though….

I hope that you have another wonderful week this week and it’s so great you have such good times planned ahead!

    • Thank you, Di. Yes, blogging ahead is really a life changing. My blog doesn’t suffer when I’m busy and have very little time to blog and read. It helps a lot.
Anyway, have a wonderful week. Enjoy your books. ๐Ÿ˜

  5. I really need blog ahead. Especially because I won’t have as much time once classes start up again. I’m not sure what posts I would have, maybe some reviews or discussion posts. Have a good week, and enjoy planning for your trip! ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I wish I was better at blogging ahead too – I write a lot on the fly – I might check out the challenge to see if I can get inspired. Have a good week!

  7. That’s awesome that you’ve been blogging ahead and have been reading lots of amazing books. That is what I aspire for daily!
I hope you enjoy all the new books! ๐Ÿ™‚
    Happy reading!

  8. I love the Blog Ahead Challenge. It’s such a nice way to get ahead of your posts and sharing tips with each other. I didn’t participate this time. But next time I’ll definitely join again. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Looks like you’ve got some great new books again this week. I read ‘First Touch’, but didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would. I hope you’ll love it more. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Have a great week and happy reading!

  9. Looks like some fun books there! Hope you enjoy.

Blogging ahead is really important — I hate it when it catches up to me. Right now I’m trying to get things straightened out and get more posts scheduled, but it’s a little exhausting playing catch-up!

I do need to get a bit ahead with my blog. It always feels good to have a couple of posts ready to go. I really want to read the Emma Chase book and the Lauren Blakely looks good as well. Have a great week!

  11. It is so fun to find recommendations at other blogs. ๐Ÿ™‚ With all the other work I have I have never found a way to get ahead on reviews/posts. I just manage to post each day as I can. Hope your challenge goes well. Happy Reading and posting!

  12. First Touch is one of my favorites – hope you enjoy it! Laurelin Paige’s Fixed series is also great if you’re new to the author ๐Ÿ™‚ Good luck with your blogging challenge!

  13. Good luck with the Blogging Ahead Challenge. I usually schedule posts anyway- but I’ve never participated in the challenge before. I might try that so thanks for letting me know what it is!

  14. Great idea to get ahead in blogging … if you can do it! I have heard Emma Chase writes great books so good to hear you are enjoying Sustained.

  15. I will have to add Buttons to my TBR list.

I try my hardest to blog ahead when I can. I endeavour to type a post a day, whether or not it is posted on that day.

I hope you have a fantastic week reading!
