Top Seven Series I've been meaning to read but haven't yet

The Marked Men series by Jay Crownover

This book has been one of my TOP series I’ve been planning to read soon. I read the recently published book by this author, Riveted, and loved it. I love the author’s writing so I cannot wait to start this series as soon as possible. It has got lots of awesome reviews.

Rule: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay] Jet: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay] Rome: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay] Nash: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay] Rowdy: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay] Asa: A Marked Men Novel by [Crownover, Jay]

Elements of Chemistry series by Penny Reid

This series is one of the old series that I’ve purchased right after the third book published but then somehow forgot about it. One of the bloggers recently reminded me of this book.

ATTRACTION: Elements of Chemistry (Hypothesis Series Book 1) by [Reid, Penny] HEAT: Elements of Chemistry (Hypothesis Series Book 2) by [Reid, Penny] CAPTURE: Elements of Chemistry (Hypothesis Series Book 3) by [Reid, Penny]

Never, Never series by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher

These two authors are in the list of my one-click author but somehow I forgot to read this series. They’ve been sitting on my kindle for a while and every time I was about to read them I got distracted by another one. I need to as soon as possible though.

Never Never: Part One of Three by [Hoover, Colleen, Fisher, Tarryn] Never Never: Part Two of Three by [Hoover, Colleen, Fisher, Tarryn] Never Never: Part Three of Three by [Hoover, Colleen, Fisher, Tarryn]

Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs

This author is a totally new author to me but I am SO curious about this series. It has been getting awesome reviews and has been recommended to me by a lot of my blogging friends. I didn’t know that it is, in fact, a series and purchased the latest book first instead of the first one. I’m still planning to purchase each book and read it though.

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) Blood Bound (Mercy Thompson, #2) Iron Kissed (Mercy Thompson, Book 3) by [Briggs, Patricia] Bone Crossed (Mercy Thompson, Book 4) by [Briggs, Patricia] Silver Borne (Mercy Thompson Book 5) by [Briggs, Patricia] River Marked (Mercy Thompson Book 6) by [Briggs, Patricia] Frost Burned (Mercy Thompson Book 7) by [Briggs, Patricia] Night Broken (Mercy Thompson Book 8) by [Briggs, Patricia] Fire Touched (A Mercy Thompson Novel) by [Briggs, Patricia] Silence Fallen (A Mercy Thompson Novel) by [Briggs, Patricia]

Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon

This classic goodie has been in my heart for a very long time. I’ve been dying to read them but things happened and it was replaced by another one. I’m still thinking about them, though, and cannot wait any longer to start them.

Outlander: A Novel (Outlander, Book 1) by [Gabaldon, Diana] Dragonfly In Amber (Outlander, Book 2) by [Gabaldon, Diana] Voyager (Outlander, Book 3) by [Gabaldon, Diana] Drums Of Autumn (Outlander, Book 4) by [Gabaldon, Diana] The Fiery Cross (Outlander, Book 5) by [Gabaldon, Diana] A Breath Of Snow And Ashes (Outlander, Book 6) by [Gabaldon, Diana] An Echo in the Bone: A Novel (Outlander, Book 7) by [Gabaldon, Diana] Written in My Own Heart's Blood: A Novel (Outlander, Book 8) by [Gabaldon, Diana]

Tristan & Danika series by R.K. Liley

Despite the fact that the author is new to me, I’ve been hearing great things about her books, especially this series. The reviews are awesome and they have been constantly recommended to me. I started book one last year but then didn’t continue. I still remember I loved it, so I have no idea why I haven’t finished it yet. I definitely will.

Bad Things (Tristan & Danika Book 1) by [Lilley, R.K.] Rock Bottom (Tristan & Danika Book 2) by [Lilley, R.K.] Lovely Trigger (Tristan & Danika Book 3) by [Lilley, R.K.]

Signal Bend series by Susan Fanetti

I love biker books and this author has been recommended by fellow die-hard biker fans for more than a year. I’ve been curious about this series in particular and cannot wait to start it when I’m in the mood for a biker story.

Move the Sun (Signal Bend Series Book 1) by [Fanetti, Susan] Behold the Stars (Signal Bend Series Book 2) by [Fanetti, Susan] Into the Storm (Signal Bend Series Book 3) by [Fanetti, Susan] Alone on Earth (Signal Bend Series Book 4) by [Fanetti, Susan] All the Sky (Signal Bend Series Book 5) by [Fanetti, Susan] Show the Fire (Signal Bend Series Book 6) by [Fanetti, Susan] Leave a Trail (Signal Bend Series Book 7) by [Fanetti, Susan]

  1. Beware Of The Reader

My favorit series are usually fantasy like Cassandra Clare, Sarah J Maas etc. In contemporary I loved the Indebted series by Pepper Winters, Dark Duet by CS Stephen, Consequences by Aleatha Romig and Fallen Crest by Tijan!!

I love love love both Outlander and Mercy Thompson. I have Jay Crownover and Penny Reid on my tbr list. Hope you enjoy these when you get the chance to read them.

I have the first two Mercy books but still haven’t read them. I did read Rule by Jay Crownover but never went on with the series. Outlander books all are over 1000 pages and I just can’t commit to that much time for each book. But I am watching the series and it’s wonderful! My favorite series is The Mageri Series by Dannika Dark. So good!

  4. I loved the Marked men series, a few books more than others but still. I have a ton of series that I have been meaning to start too but I don’t know why I haven’t. The Patricia Briggs one I’ve heard it’s very good but with so many books in the series I’m a bit intimidated. Good luck.

  5. I read the first Mercy Thompson book and the first Outlander, and didn’t care for either of them. But I’m convinced (for both of them,) that it MUST have been a mood thing. LOL I’ll be trying them again.

I hope you enjoy these reads when you get to them! 🙂

  6. Oh gosh, there are so many books/series that I really need to read but I just haven’t found the time yet. I did pretty well the last couple years getting caught up on some bigger series like The Raven Boys (though I’m FINALLY reading the last book now).

    • With so many awesome standalones/Duet/trilogy it’s been hard to read a long series. The longest I’ve read was 5. But it depends on the story. If it’s amazing, I’ll devour all of them. But it’s rare.

  7. Oh! I’ve been seeing Never Never around lately but I didn’t realise it was a series! I didn’t even realise they were different books! 🙈 I can be such a dork!

I also want to try the Mercy Thompson series – it’s definitely my kind of thing but a little daunting that there’s so many of them!

I’m currently reading Outlander but it keeps being pushed to the back burner because it’s not really for my blog and it’s HUGE. I am actually enjoying it though and think I need to devote some more time to it.

Great list! I hope you get around to some of these soon!

    • Same here, Di. The covers are so similar. It’s hard to see the difference. I missed book 3. I thought it was a duet.
Lots of people have said that they didn’t finish Outlander because it’s too long. I have book one and thought the same. It’s the reason why I haven’t started it yet. The series is LONG. Hehe

      Thank you, Di.

  8. Oh I love your list! Except for Signal Bend series by Susan Fanetti (which I haven’t heard of before but looking into now) all those series you mentioned on my to read pile as well. Some I even own the whole series smh… like Outlander lol

Now it has me thinking into making my own. Do you mind if I use this idea for a post?

  9. Jay Crownover is fabulous, I haven’t finished her Marked Men series either. I have the first book of Mercy Thompson Series (audiobook) on hold at the library, the wait list is unbelievably long and I think I will just purchase instead, I’ve also heard so many wonderful things about this series. So many book, so little time…

What a great post 🙂 Have a wonderful day.

  10. I haven’t read the series. My niece read the first book and didn’t care for it at all, so I’m going on her recommendation since we have similar tastes in books.

  11. I’ve been meaning to read the Mercy Thompson series for SOOOOO long now! But now am worried if it’s for me to read now. From everything I hear, I feel like I’d have loved the series more when I was younger but I still wanna read it as I hear it’s so badass 🙂 I’m curious about the Outlander series too!
