Book Review – Deklan by Shay Savage

Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romantic Suspense Standalone/Series: Standalone Published on: June 20, 2017 Pages: 419 POV: First person POV Source: Purchased Rating: 4.5 STARS Buy on Amazon As some of you know, mafia stories are my favorite. I love unconventional love stories that push all my boundaries and make me think. While it contains violence and murders, they are not heavy and all fans of suspense, including the ones who do not enjoy taboo, sensitive subjects, will enjoy this story. It is a standalone story. What is the story about? Kera O’Conner is a daughter of a low-level gambler who owns small businesses. When she was fifteen, she was abducted and her father had to ask a mafia family for help but she had to marry the son of the mafia leader as a payment of her father’s debt. Realizing that it was the only thing to save her family, she agreed. […]

Genres: Adult, Dark Contemporary Romance Standalone/Series: Series (trilogy) Published on: Book 1 (November 15, 2016), Book 2 (February 7, 2017), Book 3 (May 16, 2017) Pages: Book 1 (367 pages), Book 2 (342 pages), Book 3 (397 pages) POV: Dual first POV Source: Publisher Rating: 4.5 STARS Buy on Amazon:  Buttons & Lace (Book 1) Buttons & Hate (Book 2) Buttons & Pain (Book 3) This series is hands down one of my favorite dark, contemporary romances ever. It was unputdownable, addicting, unconventional romance you are going to enjoy if you are a fan of dark romances. Before I elaborate further what this story about ad what I thought about it, I want to give you a heads up—this story contains taboo, offensive such as rapes, abuses, murders, violence, punishments, and the things related to human traffickings. In other words, this is not for everyone. Let me tell you, Penelope Sky […]

He’s a cold, ruthless, aggressive businessman. The only one who can save me and my startup from ruin. It takes every ounce of courage to put my pride aside and ask for his help. I didn’t expect him to offer it easily. And he doesn’t. Instead, he vets me harder than he’s vetted anyone. Don’t invest in what you don’t know, he says. He’s assessing every piece of me, to the point I’ve never felt so bare. I […]

It has got lots of awesome reviews.       Elements of Chemistry series by Penny Reid This series is one of the old series that I’ve purchased right after the third book published but then somehow forgot about it. One of the bloggers recently reminded me of this book.    Never, Never series by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher These two authors are in the list of my one-click author but somehow I forgot to read this series. They’ve been sitting on my kindle for a while and every time I was about to read them I […]
