Hi guys, how are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. How was your week? I had a great one, reading wise. Thank you for those who share their monthly book budget last week. I got a lot of tips and have been encouraged to evaluate my own budgets. I’m planning to limit my purchases these upcoming months and focus on reading the ones I’ve already purchased or got for reviews.

Last week on the blog:

I read two books last week and enjoyed both of them. I’ve just discovered a wonderful author, A. Zavarelli. You might already be familiar with her books, she was a totally new author to me when I read Crow. I cannot recommend her series, Boston Underworld, more. Seriously, it is awesome. I’m currently reading book 2 and cannot put it down.

Ruckus (Sinners of Saint, #2) CROW (Boston Underworld Book 1) by [Zavarelli, A.] Favorite Books that Made Me Laugh Out Loud (Coedy Roance Books)

Books I’ve just received and purchased:

I’m obsessed with The Boston Underworld series. I’ve just purchased the last two books in the series. This is a great mafia series. I’ve heard that each book gets better! In addition, I got three books for reviews last week, Inked Expressions by Carrie Ann Ryan, Blackmailing The Bad Girl by Nina Croft, and Raw Need by Cherry Lynn. They all sound GREAT! 😀

REAPER (Boston Underworld Book 2) by [Zavarelli, A.] GHOST (Boston Underworld Book 3) by [Zavarelli, A.] SAINT (Boston Underworld Book 4) by [Zavarelli, A.] Inked Expressions (Montgomery Ink Book 7) by [Ryan, Carrie Ann] Blackmailing the Bad Girl (Cutting Loose) by [Croft, Nina] Raw Need (Larson Brothers) by [Lynn, Cherrie]

Book I’m currently reading:

I’m currently reading Reaper (Boston Underworld #2) by A. Zavarelli and enjoying it so far.

Have a wonderful week! 😀

  1. I’m not sure if I read anything by Carrie Ann Ryan, I will have to look her up. I’m happy you are enjoying A. Zavarelli books. That is wonderful that you decided to limit your purchases, I keep pushing back my book buying band. Limiting sounds like a good idea. Enjoy your new reads and have a wonderful week.

Glad you’re having a good weekend! Mine is pretty relaxing so far. I love discovering new authors especially when their stuff is great. 🙂

Sticking to a book budge is hard. I don’t really spend too much on books but I keep adding them and I have enough books to probably last me the rest of my life already. Have a great week!

  4. Good luck with the tips you received on your book budget. I’ve been trying to limit how many I buy lately too and focus on what I already have, mainly because what I have in my TBR won’t even fit on the shelf I have allotted for it anymore. They’re spilling off all over the floor now, haha.

  5. Enjoy! There are few things in this world that beat the pure pleasure of reading a wonderful book in a series – and knowing you also have the next one also lined up…:)

  6. I read the first book in that Cherrie Lynn series and it was good! Hopefully you enjoy book 2! I’m so glad you found a new author to love! Isn’t that the best feeling! Have a great week!

  7. It’s happened to me too where I start reading the first book by an author and then want to read everything by that author. Books in a series can be fun! Enjoy your loot.

  8. I have a lot of book buying rules to keep me from spending too much. Right now, I am only permitted to buy books from series I have already started and they must also be on sale. But let’s be real, I have no dearth of reading material. I have a lot of ARCs I need to read, BEA is this week (meaning, more ARCs), I have so many unread books….but it’s so hard when you want to read them all.

It was already in love with the Cover of Crow and now I want to read it even more badly!!! 🙂 Glad you are enjoying it so much!

  10. I don’t really have a budget but I get so many free that I don’t spend too much- except Audible books but I have a good subscription there for two books a month. Glad you are enjoying your reading. Hope it continues to be Happy Reading!
