Boston Underworld series by A. Zavarelli is one of my MOST favorite series! I cannot fully express in words how I love this series; how obsessed I am with each of the books in this series. I was crazy in love with Crow (Boston Underworld #1) and felt the same with Reaper, the second book. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone but I suggest that you read them in order. Trust me, they all are AWESOME! What is the story about? Sasha is a young woman that works as a stripper in a pub owned by Irish syndicate, which is one of the most powerful and feared mafias in the United States located in […]

Six Most Anticipated Books For The Second Half of 2017

Have you had books that you are most anticipated and hoping to be released sooner than their actual publication dates? Well, I have. Waiting is one the things I hate especially when it comes to books. I think most bookworms can relate to this as well. It is such torture to have had to wait for the sequels of the series you LOVE. I have six books that I cannot wait to read. The Clover Chapel & The Lucky Heart (Jamison Valley #2 & #3) by Devney Perry I loved the first book, The Coppersmith Farmhouse, in the series and lucky for me, the second book, The Clover Chapel, will be released tomorrow and the third one, The Lucky Heart, will be later this year. So I’ll be able to read the second one tomorrow and the third one in the near future. 😀 The Difference Between Us […]

Weekly Recap – Have a Wonderful Week! (May 28, 2017)

Hi guys, how are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. How was your week? I had a great one, reading wise. Thank you for those who share their monthly book budget last week. I got a lot of tips and have been encouraged to evaluate my own budgets. I’m planning to limit my purchases these upcoming months and focus on reading the ones I’ve already purchased or got for reviews. Last week on the blog: I read two books last week and enjoyed both of them. I’ve just discovered a wonderful author, A. Zavarelli. You might already be familiar with her books, she was a totally new author to me when I read Crow. I cannot recommend her series, Boston Underworld, more. Seriously, it is awesome. I’m currently reading book 2 and cannot put it down. Book Review – Ruckus (Sinners of Saint […]

Shen. Although it is part of a series, it can be read as a complete standalone. However, it will be best to read in order to understand the whole story since both are interconnected stories.  ”I should probably get one thing out of the way before we begin. My story? It doesn’t have a happy ending. It won’t. It can’t. No. matter how tall or handsome or rich and captivating my Prince Charming might be… Only problem was he wasn’t really mine. He was my sister’s. But there is something you should know before you judge me. I saw him first. I craved him first. I […]

Favorite Books that Made Me Laugh (Comedy Romance Books)

The books and/or series below are my list of favorites that made me laugh out loud. The ones that are suited to those who like comedy romance and who are looking for beach books. These kinds of books are the ones I usually prefer to read when I’m on the beach and in the mood for something light-hearted to enjoy while on vacation. As you can see, my list is pretty short since I don’t read many comedy romance books but I’m planning to in the futures. Please, recommend me some of your most favorites. I’m looking forward to reading more of this genre. Note that I haven’t reviewed most of these books since I’d read them way before I started blogging. In addition, this is also an ongoing list. I’ll add the new favorites whenever I finish reading them. Egomaniac by Vi Keeland – read my […]

Favorite Series – The Others series by Anne Bishop

This series was the first paranormal romance I read in a long time and it is AWESOME. I needed some getting used to when I started but I enjoyed it. I’ve read the first two books and am planning on reading the rest as soon as possible. If you are a big fan of paranormal or urban fantasy romance, this series should be your next read if you haven’t read it yet. About Book 1: As a cassandra sangue, or blood prophet, Meg Corbyn can see the future when her skin is cut—a gift that feels more like a curse. Meg’s Controller keeps her enslaved so he can have full access to her visions. But when she escapes, the only safe place Meg can hide is at the Lakeside Courtyard—a business district operated by the Others. Shape-shifter Simon Wolfgard is reluctant to hire the stranger who […]

Weekly Recap – Monthly Budgets for Books (May 21, 2017)

Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you’re all enjoying this weekend. I had a wonderful week and did have a great reading time. I hope you did too. I want to give an update on my reading progress. Do you have a monthly budget for books? I read mostly ebooks (kindle) these days. They are cheaper and easy to carry, but my one-click habit has been out of control these last few months. I have so many books I’ve purchased that I’m not sure I’ll manage to read. They’re just sitting on my kindle and waiting for my attention. As a slow reader who has limited time to read, I’m struggling to read more than two books a week. So I’m planning to limit my monthly budgets by choosing the books I’m really interested in reading. The books I list below are just some […]
